Ever wanted to do an in-depth documentary project? Have an idea, a topic an issue you want to explore photographically? This course will give you the chance to generate or refine an existing idea for a documentary project and follow it through to resolution.
Course Description
Through a number of introductory sessions we will generate, develop and refine your project as you begin to photographically explore your idea. Once underway you will receive feedback, advice and critique through a series of ongoing workshop sessions.
As you near the end of your project we will have a number of sessions aimed exhibiting your fully resolved work here at Photospace Gallery in a group show.
This advance-level course offers you the opportunity to generate, photograph and fully resolve your project to exhibition standard - something that is not available elsewhere, outside of full-time tertiary study.
Course fee: The cost of the programme is $850.00 including GST.
You will need to pay for your own film, processing and printing for project work. Costs relating to the group exhibition are not covered by the course fee.
The course is limited to eight people.
To confirm your booking, a deposit of $250.00 is required. This is non-returnable, except in the event of the course being cancelled or postponed. A minimum number of participants is required for the course to proceed.
